Saturday May 10th, the Appalachian Rollergirls will take on the Rogue Rollergirls at Skateland USA in Hickory, N.C.
The bout kicks off at 2pm and will feature a halftime performance by acclaimed jam skating group “Cool Rollings”.
the Women’s Flat Track Derby Assocation announced Friday May 2nd that Rogue Rollergirls out of Fayetteville N.C. would be among 14 WFTDA apprentice leagues and we are very excited to have the privilege of hosting them this Saturday!
A portion of ticket sales for the event will be donated to Through Healing Eyes Inc. Headquartered in Hickory NC, Through Healing Eyes uses artistic photographs of regional breast cancer survivors, along with their personal words of inspiration and hope to create calendar pages as daily reminders of breast health, advocating for breast cancer awareness, and promoting a rich, meaningful life for those affected by breast cancer.
